NONGTAO HOSTEL
Nongtao hostel is in
NongTao village, 1:30-2 hours
away from ChiangMai. It is a
place surrounded by several
villages. These are villages of
poor families and there are
no schools. So, they
must come to Nong-
Tao for school.
We started this ministry 23 year ago in 2002. In the past 23 years we have helped over 340 children. After they graduated here, some went for higher education, and some went back to their villages as strong believers.
We have activities out of school time such as teaching the children Bible and worship songs.
We evangelize those who are not Christian yet. This year we have 20 children; fifteen from surrounding villages (Karen tribe), three children from Karen state Myanmar (Karen tribe) whose parents are fleeing from the state, and two children are Thaiyai tribe those their parent employed in the village.
The Thaiyai's at the beginning were not Christian. After 1-2 years they became Christian and we are also evangelizing to their parents.
At the beginning Nongtao church members and friends, we together supported this ministry, but we also faced the financial issue for many years and many times but because the grace of God we could past through year by year. Until we got to know our brother Jii who was friends with the SAFE board and Mr. Loren. In January 2020 SAFE, through our dear sponsors started to support us! We have now had no financial issues so far.
The money we received has been spent on food, school expenses, health (medication), staff salary, etc. We would like to say thank you for your precious support.

We appreciate the past five years you and SAFE have sponsored us! Thirty-five children have graduated from our home. Four of them became nurses, ten of them became schoolteachers, two of them are doing kids' ministry, some became pastors, and some became evangelist.
Now we have twenty-eight children with. In 2024, seven converted to believers and five of them got baptized. Now ten are not Christian yet. We keep leaning and we pray that God will touch their hearts and they will except Jesus finally. May God bless all our sponsors.

Our home is based on BaanMaeNaYawn Moo 16 T.Maenayawn. Right now, we have eleven kids. Where they are from are no schools. So, we open this kid's home to open opportunities for them to have a place to stay for going to school. At this kid's home we teach them and train them to be strong believers.
In 2021 and 2022 our kid's home faced difficulty. Since 2023, when we got support from you, we thank God and thank you that the kids have enough food for each day. The kids can now go to school and have a better life.We can see the kids are growing in spiritual ways as well. We keep praying for you that God will continue blessing you and be with you.

As in 2021 the conflict
between the ethnic group and
Myanmar military government,
so many people crossed
into Thailand to save their
lives. Ebeneezer is the church
from Karennee state, Myanmar.
Now we are at Maesurin
Camp, Thailand side.
Because the Burmese extracted all the villages and schools, the children could not have a safe place for school. So, they moved to the refugee camp for school. Most of their parents did not come along with them. So, this is why our church, Ebeneezer, started a kids home ministry.
The home ministry called Ebeneezer Hostel started in 2023 and got sponsored from you through SAFE. This year we will have 100 children and three staff.
Our aim:
We thank SAFE and all you sponsors for your love and precious support. We also try the best that we can. We live here in Maesurin refugee camp and we have very small income and no job opportunities. But we thank God for sending us our good friends like you to reach us and help us. We also try our best to collect our tithe each month for this.
We hope and pray by the Grace and guidance of God that we can pass through year by year. The money we receive from you we spend on food, some for staff salaries, school fees, and other.

We are Lloyd, Mary Ellen, and daughters, Kaitlyn and Abby Esh.
We have been involved at New Vision for Life for a bit over two years. There are now almost 700 children, some from Burma, and others from the hill tribes of Thailand.
Each of these dear children has a story, many of neglect and abuse. While the needs often feel so overwhelming, we are aware that we can make a huge difference by helping a child at a time.
Along with teaching at New Vision, helping in the clinic, bathing, etc, Kaitlyn and Abby are mamas to 4 little girls, who they have welcomed into their home to live with them.
One girl came to the children’s home after having gone through horrific abuse. The other 3 were brought to New Vision after their parents were put in prison for life.
We feel privileged to be the Father’s hands and feet to these weak and vulnerable children. May they find comfort and see Jesus, in and through our lives, and may they always know that they are deeply loved by our Heavenly Father.
